The traditional treasure hunt is a fantastic team building event that brings in a competition-based sightseeing activity.
Each of our treasure hunts is tailor made as we understand that every client is different. We are more than happy to incorporate your company’s motif, ideas, slogans and special customer requests and personal ideas into any event.
It is a challenging experience as well as an intellectual and physical workout that draws out each players knowledge and personality.
How can the treasure work for you
The traditional treasure hunt can be adapted to focus on a Modernist, Gastronomic, Historical or Multi- Activity theme. The activity can also be staged on bikes, segways or three legged. The time of the traditional treasure hunt varies but the typical time scale is between 2 and 4 hours. It can also be combined with a lunch stop.
Groups are divided into teams, given a briefing of the activity and an information pack containing: A map, a pen, a digital camera, selfie stick, a list of questions to be answered or tasks to be completed and some money which is needed to make various purchases. The start and finish points will be agreed with the client but we can adapt to the client’s logistical needs and agendas.
What challenges does the treasure hunt include
Tasks that have to be completed include:
- Answering general knowledge and cryptic questions. Taking photos of buildings, events and the team performing various tasks during the event. Overcoming various language problems.
- Buying objects of interest and searching for requested items.
- For larger groups, we also included some manned checkpoints, where the teams will have to complete various tasks.
There is a prize for the winning team and all the photos taken are forwarded to the group after so they can keep the fun memories of the activity.
